Finding the Video Poker Edge with Linda Boyd

Well, today's the day - Vegas Day! I'm busy doing 14 things at once, but you can learn a bit more about video poker in the meantime.

As you may recall in some earlier ramblings, (How to Stay Free in Vegas - Part 4 - The Comp Formula) I talked about how to play enough to get coin-in enough to get enough free stuff so you don't have to sleep rough.

In very timely and savvy fashion, Linda Boyd has put up a couple of informative vids that explore some additional points around game selection.

Check 'em out and learn some stuff about volatility, paytables and such.

How to Find the Best Paying Video Poker Machines in Any Casino with Gambling Author Linda Boyd

Linda is awesome enough to be forwarding a copy of her book The Video Poker Edge - How to Play Smart and Bet Right for my review.

It's a pretty good title, even if it doesn't have either 'savvy' or 'degenerate' in it, like my business cards do.

The book should arrive in Vegas about the time I do, and if things go badly in the casino, I'll have a chance to peruse the book while sulking in my room, drinking Four Loko and watching 10 cent keno on the TV.
