You Little Ripper

I guess Christmas dinner was filet mignon and Alaskan king crab legs. I don't feel hard done by.

This trip has again been a struggle, but we didn't really intend to play much until we got on proper holidays at the Cal. So yesterday we did quite a bit of play. Had some fun but it was up and down and ended quite badly down.

Today however, is a different story. Quad Queen and I are hitting on all 3 cylinders. Playing a ton of VP and hitting the hands needed to keep going.

We have had just a ton of four-to-a-Royals today, and QQ just had one on ten play - hit none of 'em anywhere.

We both had four-to-a-royal in hearts at the same time. Weird.

The Cal is a bit of a ClusterCal today - only one elevator has been working, and they have security guards taking people the back way and up the service elevator. Kind of cool to see the back rooms where they have all my money.

I took the rental back today. Got down there in 10 minutes, gassed up the SUV, put 19 cans of coke and drinks in a bag, and dumped the rental.

Rather than take Lyftber, I took the scenic route. Shuttle to the airport, then half an hour finding the fucking bus stop at terminal 3 (it's on the departures level, outside door 44), then a long ride on the CX downtown and a 5 block hike with the drinks.

Cost me $2.
