A hog in front of Hogs n Heifers.
Hog's n Heifers Saloon is just a block from Fremont Street, and, more obviously, across the road from the Downtown Grand.

I'm not sure if its a genuine biker bar, a tourist bar, or a biker tourist bar, but the place has a reputation for a loud and good time, and bartenders that kick ass and dance on the bar.

Not too bad-ass for some neon, though
Hogs get full marks for being slang for a huge Harley with straight pipes. In real life, a heifer is a young cow with no offspring.

Maybe not as alluring as a shiny-chrome bike on the open road.


Couldn't they have named it Hogs 'n Ole Ladies or something more respectful? Anyway, the place looks like a good, rowdy time, and they often have live music.

Check out the amazing collection of signs, patches and bumper stickers that have been brought from all over. Wouldn't that be a great place for an Official Royal Flusher Business Card 2.0 Sticker?....

Oh - Hog also stands for H.O.G or Harley Owners Group. Thank you Internets!

One of these days I'm going to head in there and see what it's all about.

      Thanks for reminding me of my only visit to H & H. Several years ago, returning from a day of golf and on the way to dinner at the top of Binions, we stopped in for a drink at H&H. All four of us ride Harley's and have attended many "biker" rallies. We thought we'd fit right in.

      Immediately upon entry, the two bartendresses greeted us with a friendly"Hi there, she's the one with tits, and I'm not".

      Well now! Thank you for letting us know. It was a fun vibe, but not really a "biker" bar by any means. They did their best to sell us overpriced shots in the name of fun.

      Mr. Flusher, given your sense of humor, I could envision a fun blog posting if you decide to visit them.
