I've yammered on in other posts about when it's a good time to take outdoor shots of Vegas landmarks and neon.
(Pipe down, I know it's always a good time to take a picture in Vegas.)
The time I like to take shots is just after sundown, in Magic Time. Which is actually a pretty stupid name for sunset, but it certainly does make for good photography of the dazzling lights of the Strip or the Fremont Street Experience hotels.
I just found out there is another good time, thanks to this beautiful shot by Joan of Aces.
Yes, who know, who was ever up early enough to know (more to be those up late enough to know)... that there is a second sunset in Las Vegas.
No goddamn wonder this place is so special! In fact, I think they could ditch that happens here stays here thing and come up with a brand new marketing catchphrase:
Las Vegas - We Have Two Sunsets
So come here and gamble your money away, there's plenty to see after!
