Hanging up there in the sky or on the horizon, beautifying the strip or some neon sign with it's moony love?
I usually grab a photo or two and I am almost always disappointed with the results. Why do Mr. Moon look so fucking tiny and out of focus in all my pics?!
Why, why, why???
Well, I have some advice for you.
Unless you have a decent camera with a decent telephoto lens and a decent tripod or other stable platform and maybe a decent shutter release (or a timer), don't bother trying to shoot the moon.
(By 'decent camera', I mean one of the ones that I don't own.)
Regardless, here are some shots that look kind a pretty.
The yellowish whitish bright smudge is either the moon, or a car with one headlight.
These little stinkers were probably taken with my piPhone 3.14 (Mark II).
See what a difference a zoom lens makes? I took this last one with a Canon G16 from my hotel room at the Cal.
