Royal Flusher's Daily Vegas Pic - June 9, 2018 - Fremont

There are many pre-fab photo ops around Las Vegas with all the neon and glitz and facades that look amazing, and are easy to photograph.

And everyone does. I do to.

But take a look around and see things in another way and you might find images to capture that aren't run-of-the-mill. So many things in Vegas are unique.

Like the quality of the sunlight - it can be blindingly white, leaving deep dark shadows, as seen in this abstract.

I think this photo looks cool. I was over at Jimmy Poon's house where he was playing with his 9 year old daughter.

Jimmy Poon thought it was stupid, but Jimmy Poon's daughter looked up from her 'Go Fish' game and observed, "This study of light and shadow nicely balances the different rhythmic textures as positive and negative space fight for domination, and contrasts the battle with the fractal unpredictability of palm fronds, gracing the side of the image, and reminding us of the futility of conflict."
